New Leadership on the Horizon for WithinReach

Executive Director Patty Hayes announced this week that she is leaving WithinReach to join Public Health Seattle-King County as their new Community Health Service Division Director effective February 1, 2012.

“It was a hard decision for me to leave, especially with so many exciting developments underway,” says Hayes. “However, I am confident that WithinReach will come out of this transition stronger than ever. It has been a rare privilege to work with such a committed group of people. I will remain an ardent advocate for this organization and will continue to support its mission to improve the health of Washington families.”

The Board of Directors Executive Committee will serve as the search committee during the transition. They plan to engage an executive search firm to recruit Hayes’ successor.
